Competition project for “stained glass” at the Burkhart Center for Autism and Research

Lubbock, USA
2012

The puzzle element is the basic piece of the composition – both the logo of The ‘Burkhart Center for Autism and Research’ at Texas Tech University and a symbol of a ‘jigsaw’ – a process of fixing and composing parts that requires great patience. The central puzzle is the only one that is placed orthogonally that could reflect the ‘organized goal’ whereas it’s color – green – associates to hope. But a surface is not sufficient to transmit artistically the idea of human’s thoughts and the issue of autism… The spatial composition is arranged in the imagination of passers-by and observers, along with their movement and constant change of perspective.
