Our project wins CODAawards 2024 for the best artwork in public spaces!
Anti-Soviet Partisans’ Memorial in Wrocław, PL wins the international CODAawards 2024 competition for the best artwork in public spaces in the world!
Our project received two main awards:
- The Jury selected the project as the winner in the category:
“Public Spaces”
- The Public voted for the project online to select it as:
“People’s Choice”
In June 2024, the project was shortlisted in the TOP100 best artworks, among which the audience had the opportunity to choose their favorite. Earlier, the Jury decided on the winners in each of the 10 categories. Thank you for all the votes. The “Public Space” category included the most entries, so this double victory feels really special to us!
The official results along with the Jurors are published on the website:
This poignant memorial presents a stark, life-sized reality intertwined with ethereal, ghostly soldiers. Departing from the traditional heroic soldier of past monuments, this one conjures a profound, eerie sadness and the haunting fear of being ensnared by the horrors of war.”
