Adriatic Waves | Private Residence | Lower Silesia | Poland

The site-specific glass art composition “Adriatic Waves” was created for a private residence near Wrocław, Poland.

Hand-sculpted glass elements, fired at 850°C, feature alternating matt and glossy surfaces, forming a dynamic and elegant composition that complements the modern character of the interior.

Inspired by the Adriatic Sea, the work captures the essence of its deep blue tones and the motion of waves breaking along the shores of the client’s homeland. Each glass element reflects the movement, rhythm, and light of the sea.

Glass Art EGG | Main Building of the @uniwersytet_wroclawski | Poland

The glass sculpture “Glass Art EGG” by Tomasz Urbanowicz is an artistic response to a complex design challenge — introducing a new function, a porter’s lodge, into the baroque hall connecting the University of Wrocław with the University Church.

Standing over 5.5 meters high, the work is made of cast art glass, fired at 850°C in the ARCHIGLASS studio. Its organic form, glowing from within, brings a contemporary spirit into the historical setting.

The word baroque comes from the Portuguese barroco — meaning “an irregular pearl.” In this sense, “Glass Art EGG” embodies the essence of baroque: uniqueness, beauty, and mystery — while also symbolizing rebirth, knowledge, and creation.

– Construction of the Year 2019, Polish Association of Construction Engineers and Technicians
– TOP100 CODAawards 2020, recognizing the world’s best art in architecture

The Spirit of Health | Integrative Medical Center | Żerniki Wrocławskie | Poland

The glass art compositions titled “The Spirit of Health” were comprehensively designed and executed in line with the holistic philosophy of the Integrative Medical Center.

The project creates a cohesive spatial identity where art and architecture merge seamlessly. The atmosphere of the interior is shaped by:
– a suspended glass sculpture in the main hall,
– illuminated wall glass compositions in the hotel rooms,
– artistic room signage,
– glass visual identification of the main clinic zones (Wellness, Restaurant, Hotel),
– and a central sculptural piece in the relaxation area.

The architectural design and realization of the IMC Clinic were carried out by NOVBUD, led by architect Urszula Wiśniowska.
