Glass Waterfalls | Ultranet | Wrocław | Poland A Glass Waterfalls | Ultranet | Wrocław | Poland At the rooftop of the Ultranet office building in Wrocław (designed by arch. Ireneusz Huryk), right at the edge of the façade, a swimming pool serves as the inspiration for a unique large-scale glass composition. The artistic glass by Tomasz Urbanowicz creates the illusion of four waterfalls cascading from the pool down the building. By using slumped tempered glass with a dynamic texture, the surface of the façade comes to life with light and reflections, enhancing the impression of flowing water. The Imperial Post Office’s Spirit | Justin Cente The Imperial Post Office’s Spirit | Justin Center | Wrocław | Poland The modern glass façade of the building designed by ARCH-E atelier is inspired by the nonexistent body of the Imperial Post Office Bldg from 1888, demolished here during WWII. Catamaran Sails | Chyby | Poland Colourful glass Catamaran Sails | Chyby | Poland Colourful glass compositions complement the interior design at the private swimming pool near Poznań, Poland, designed by @kameleon.lab studio & Czajkowsky Studio. The glass feature walls are illuminated with fiber optics powered by a light source with a moving shutter. Variable illumination of individual fibers introduces subtle movement in a static image. Glass Waves | Gdynia | Poland A beautiful house b Glass Waves | Gdynia | Poland A beautiful house by the sea designed by the architects from the @archdeco.pl team delights with its location and architecture. The design of the glass composition for the swimming pool on the seaside slope assumed a composition using a mirror so that the interior would not be like a cave, but would gain light. During the day, the mirror reflects the landscape with the sky, horizon, sea, clouds, birds and sails... Blue glass waves break the monotony of the concrete walls. Mounted on the mirror, they become more and more visible as we get closer and move, preferably in the pool. In the evening, when the seaside landscape disappears, the glasses are illuminated, creating amazing effects and a sensual atmosphere. The reflection in the water, in the skylight and in the facade panes enhances the effect of space and visually stretches the composition. Blue Sun Setting in the Ocean | Queen Mary II Que Blue Sun Setting in the Ocean | Queen Mary II Queen Mary II - the largest, most expensive and most exclusive transatlantic liner of its time in the world, the flagship of the @cunardline. It is also a floating gallery with works of art. World-famous artists, carefully selected by curators from Onderneming & Kunst from Amsterdam, were invited to create objects especially for QM II. Only two artists from Poland had the honor of participating in this project - Stanisław Wysocki, creating 2 bronze sculptures, and Tomasz Urbanowicz - a composition of artistic glass. The glass installation decorates the Pavilion of the eleventh semi-open deck of the Queen Mary II. Large-scale kiln-formed glass in the shape of an ellipse measuring 90 x 270 cm is bent into an arc with a radius of 160 cm. The composition closes the space of the stage, separating it from the open recreational pool.
